St. Koloman, Salzburg
Glacial striation, a glacial geological monument in the Salzburger Land. During the reconstruction of the St. Koloman state road in 1974, the glacial striation was discovered and the first sections were uncovered. Thanks to a generous re-routing of the road, the glacial striation was preserved. The exposed area was declared a natural monument in 1975 and made accessible to the public. The glacial striation can be reached from Bad Vigaun via the St. Kolomaner Landesstraße and is visible during the snow-free season.
