Photo: Glaubenskirche St Johann am TauernPölstal, Styria
The Protestant Glaubenskirche is one of Austria's oldest tolerance prayer houses and the only preserved Protestant church building from the Tolerance Era in Styria. It was built in 1784. The church has been preserved almost unchanged in its original form from the time of its construction. Only a tower was added on the north side in 1951/52. Since October 15, 1967, by resolution of the presbytery of the branch congregation, the church has borne the name Glaubenskirche and is a protected monument.
