Path along the lithopuncture stones in Rogner Bad Blumau and in Bad Blumau. Rogner Bad Blumau stands on a highly sensitive terrain. There are a multitude of power focal points, centers of vital energy and natural intelligence here. Thanks to the keen attention of Ms. Melitta Rogner, these precious places were protected in time. She invited the artist and earth healer Marko Pogacnik and his daughter Ana to visit the energy places and to represent their value for the subtle world. These were already protected during the construction phase of the Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art) Rogner Bad Blumau. Over the last ten years, Marko and his wife Marika Pogacnik have often chiseled here in Bad Blumau to create a complete lithopuncture project. In doing so, 19 of the most important power centers of the place were marked by stone settings. The term lithopuncture refers to a method of ecological and holistic healing and balancing of the landscape, developed by the Slovenian artist Marko Pogacnik. The method is similar to acupuncture in the human body, hence its name, which is composed of the Greek word for stone - lithos - and the Latin word for puncture - punctura. Each lithopuncture stone shows an engraved sign, the cosmogram. A cosmogram reflects the identity of the place where the given stone stands, and at the same time directs the healing forces of the place in the desired direction. The fundamental role of the lithopuncture stones in Bad Blumau is to ensure stability and an inexhaustible power for the place, given its constant expenditure on thousands of guests. Its power places are not only there for us humans to experience, but their primary task is to ensure the quality of life of the local landscape. The Geomantic Path was laid out along the lithopuncture stones, through which visitors to the thermal spa have the opportunity to get to know these precious places and experience their qualities. Geomancy is the art that deals with the experience of the subtle levels of the earth, nature and humans. It tries to integrate the areas of invisible reality into the consciousness of our culture. The open space design of the path and the individual places was also carried out according to geomantic aspects. In addition to the Blumau gardening team, three other artists were involved: Maria Weig, Wolfgang Körner, and Joachim Kitagawa. Visitors are guided into a meditative mood by this path and led to its center in a way appropriate to the respective place.
