Start in the town of Muhr: From there, you can cycle leisurely to St. Michael — here, the route either continues along the Mur River — a relaxing break at the Murinsel in St. Michael is highly recommended! Or you can take the route via Glashütte and Kaltbachstraße towards the town center of St. Michael, where the swimming pool offers a refreshing stop or the parish church invites for a visit, before continuing via St. Martin to rejoin the cycle path. The journey continues past the golf course St. Michael (www.golfclub-lungau.com) towards St. Margarethen, where lovely beer gardens invite you to stop for a meal. Or you might want to visit the Augustinkapelle with its old lindens and the Samson figure at the community center. Heading towards Unternberg, you are now on a section of the Mitterberg- and Schwarzenberg round routes, and here too, a refreshing break at the Unternberg recreational area is a must. Continuing through the districts of Neggerndorf and Mörtelsdorf, you reach the main town of Tamsweg, where a detour directly into the town to visit the local history museum is very interesting, or a visit to the BadeInsel can be very refreshing. Now, heading further towards Ramingstein, the impressive Burg Finstergrün towers over the Mur cycle path.
