At 4 km long, the Garnitzenklamm is Carinthia's longest gorge. ℹ️ Info: The Garnitzenklamm is officially open until mid-October. After that – depending on the weather – it can be entered at your own risk until the end of October. Please note: After winter or storms, closures may occur – observe the information signs on site! 🌄 Enjoy nature, recharge your energy, and marvel – right near Hermagor! 🥾 Garnitzenklamm Tour Tips 🥾 Whether leisurely or challenging – everyone will find a suitable route in the Garnitzenklamm: 🔹 Tour 1 (approx. 2 h) Through the 1st & 2nd part of the gorge, return via Steinwenderweg & St. Urbani to Möderndorf 🔹 Tour 2 (approx. 4 h) To the end of the 3rd part, return via forest road & St. Urbani 🔹 Tour 3 (approx. 5 h total) Through all 4 parts of the gorge – return route as ascent or variant via Tour 1 or 2 🔹 Tour 4 (approx. 5–6 h) Through the entire gorge and on to the Kühweger Alm – several descent variants towards Möderndorf or Nassfeld 🔹 Tour 5 (approx. 6–7 h) For the enduring: through the gorge to Nassfeld via Garnitzenalm & Watschiger Alm 🌄 No matter which tour – pure nature, impressive views, and an unforgettable experience await you!
