The Galerieatelier Tomassetti in Kirchgasse offers art enthusiasts insight into the work of the two artists living in Gmünd, LARISSA TOMASSETTI (A) and FRANK TOMASSETTI-KROPIUNIK (A).Larissa & Frank Tomassetti are a couple both professionally and privately. As "PartnerGarnelen" (partner shrimps), the two artists work on jointly created series and performances. The current exhibition shows works by both, primarily oil paintings on canvas in vibrant colors. From aleatoric underpaintings, painterly forms are worked out here, which appear surreal and reveal fantastic figurative elements.After artistic training in Salzburg and Vienna, the two Carinthian artists exhibited internationally and received numerous prizes and awards. Since 2013, they have operated their studio in Kirchgasse, Larissa Tomassetti's former parental home.
