Galerie Mathias Mayr is located in the historic row of houses on Mariahilfstraße on the left bank of the Inn in one of the oldest parts of Innsbruck. The gallery program focuses on modern art of the 20th and 21st centuries with various positions in painting, graphics and sculpture. A special focus within the program is placed on works with a graphic approach in an extended context and is also expanded to include a young generation of contemporary artists. In addition to the constantly changing presentation of works from the collection, six thematic group and solo exhibitions are shown annually in the gallery, as well as special additional shows.
