My pictures are created as a reflection on a visual impression, be it a landscape, an element, a mood or a fragment from botany. While in earlier years these were depictions of cityscapes, plants, elemental events, eruptive forces of primeval powers in watercolor, acrylic, oil or mixed media, later there was a turn to collages, in which my imagination was inspired by a found object from a photo fragment, a textile remnant, various papers or diverse objects.
