Interesting stations in the Fürstenfeld urban area provide insight into the city's history – from the time of the Turkish sieges in the Middle Ages to Fürstenfeld's situation in World War II. Come along into the dark crypt of the Augustinian Church or into mysterious bunkers that offered people protection during wartime. The brave will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the surroundings. Some Festungsweg stations now also feature media-enhanced, historical information material. Movement is brought into the city's history, which was previously documented by engravings, sketches, drawings, and pictures.
