The leisure Eldorado for the whole family in the LavanttalOnly 5 km south of the town of St. Andrä, nestled between the old arm and the regulated course of the Lavant river next to the Lavantradweg, lies the St. Andräer See leisure facility. The groundwater-fed quarry pond was adapted to the existing landscape in an environmentally friendly way under the strictest environmental regulations. One third of the water surface was thus designed as a biotope for water purification. A large part of the old tree population could be preserved. The core of the facility, opened in 1990, is a 3.5 ha swimming lake with a diving tower, water slide and non-swimmer area. For our youngest visitors, the facility has a bouncy castle and a children's water slide.Further infrastructure of the St. Andräer See leisure facility includes a restaurant with a large terrace, a lake stage for various festivals and cultural events, a spacious children's playground, a beach volleyball court, a calisthenics park and park chess.A diverse range of festivals, cultural evenings, children's play festivals and sporting events round off the leisure offer.Public transport:By train to St. Paul. Continue by Postbus or the station shuttle
