Our Scubing Tours at Traunfall:TOUR 1 - The Sporty OneThis tour begins with a 4-meter jump. The special highlight of this tour is that you spend most of the tour in a spring area, which means you have extremely clear water and thus excellent visibility. Scenically, it is the most beautiful of the 4 tours.TOUR 2 - The Universal OneThis tour can be done in almost any water level. The river speed varies depending on the section. A special highlight is the 800-meter-long weir structure, which is still relatively well preserved. These structures were built in 1554 and had the task of making the Traun navigable for salt shipping. With a bit of luck, you can still admire a large school of barbel at the end. TOUR 3 - The 5000 Fish TourThe special thing about this tour is that 5 schools of barbel, each comprising up to 800 fish, extend along its entire course. In addition, there is a very high chance of seeing pike and carp. Shortly before the end, there is another special highlight in the form of an 800-meter-long rapid, where you can let yourself drift to the exit. It is the richest in fish of the 4 tours.TOUR 4 - River-Scub-Adventure-Tour This tour is our day tour. It is designed for all adventurers with team spirit and a whole day's time. It consists of 3 individual tours, with a break always taken between them. You start with TOUR 1, where a small snack with drinks awaits the snorkelers at the exit. Afterwards, you continue directly with TOUR 2, where you exit in a forest section. Here, grilling takes place, with an egg dish over the campfire as a starter. Well-fed, you continue to a tour that we normally do not offer solo; this one is characterized by many rapids. At the end of the day, you will have covered a total of 12 river kilometers.All food and drinks are included, telephone reservation necessary!High Water ToursIn case of an increased water level, we can offer so-called high water tours. The special thing about this is that you have very fast rapids, which offers a completely new snorkeling experience. At the Steckerlfischstand (grilled fish stand), turn left over the Traunfall bridge. After approx. 200 m, turn left. (Signs for Tauchbasis Traunfall or Gasthaus Kastenhuber) Coming from the A8 (Passau-Linz), take the Meggenhofen exit, continue on the B135 to Schwanenstadt. Through Schwanenstadt for approx. 6 km. Continue on the B135 towards Gmunden. In the village of Viecht, turn right. (Follow signs for Tauchbasis Traunfall)
