The Fürstenfeld Sport Flying Club operates this unique facility in the heart of the Southeast Styrian-Burgenland Thermal Region with over 180 members in the sections of powered flight, glider flight, skydiving, and model aircraft. The airfield has been a popular excursion destination for young and old for decades; the wide range of scenic flights over Eastern Styria or the Alps, as well as tandem skydives as a special adrenaline kick, offer a unique experience. The Fürstenfeld Sport Flying Club has been known for decades as the home of numerous flight sport enthusiasts – flight training for glider and powered aircraft pilots, as well as for skydivers, can be started before the age of 16. The "Approved Training Organisation (ATO) Fürstenfeld", certified to the highest international standards, guarantees the best training level for private and professional pilots.
