Florianikirche

Contemporary architecture in one of Styria's youngest churches. Rock, glass, and wood in an extraordinary synthesis. In 1985, architect Volker Gienke was commissioned to plan a church and rectory. The church consecration took place on May 3, 1992. The church's floor plan corresponds to an unequal polygon. The construction of the 600 m² grass-covered roof is remarkable. The tower is a glass-clad steel structure consisting of three elements.
