This place invites you to linger - take a break. The cross is located in the middle of the forest and belongs to Miesenbach. Miesenbach is situated at 872m to 1,256m above sea level and enchants with its rich forests. Particularly popular are the many themed trails, such as the Wasserweg (Water Trail) or the Kultwanderweg (Culture Hiking Trail) to the Wildwiese. On the Wildwiese, a viewing tower awaits you. This offers you a beautiful view of the region, and with good visibility, you can even see as far as Hungary.On the bench next to the Floisenkogel summit cross (1,217 m), you can relax and enjoy nature. Sit down consciously and enjoy the silence; perhaps you will also hear birds chirping.The summit cross is also a weather cross. These serve as a weather blessing and are intended to protect against sudden weather changes. In addition, they offer hikers orientation and are usually located at trail junctions.
