Fliegergrab

On the occasion of a plane crash in a wooded area between Entholz and Hochholding in 1943, a simple wooden cross was erected at the crash site by an unknown person after the war, which was referred to by local residents as the "Fliegerkreuz" (aviator's cross). According to contemporary witnesses, the memorial is intended to commemorate the mid-air collision of two fighter planes and the associated plane crash, and was renovated and redesigned by members of the Kameradschaftsbund in 1982. by car:Motorway A8 to exit Pichl bei Wels.
