Fischen in der Donau

Approx. 40 fish species can be found in the Danube. Those who wish to fish must carry the following cards/IDs/licenses in their name: fishing license with photo, current license book for Upper Austria, written permit (fishing license) from the manager of the respective fishing waters. Persons who have not yet reached the age of 12 may only fish accompanied by a supervisor. They must carry their own license book as well as the fishing license of the respective manager of the fishing waters. The supervisor is responsible for compliance with fishing regulations. In particular, they must carry the official fishing license with photo.
