Filialkirche Zahling

Roman Catholic subsidiary church Zahling - this small romantic church was greatly enhanced in art historical terms by the uncovering of the Romanesque frescoes. The church of Zahling, dedicated to St. Lawrence and built more than 700 years ago, was the original parish of the Lafnitz Valley. The recovery of significant parts of a monumental wall painting decoration in the apse from the first half of the 14th century can be considered a regional art historical sensation.
