The Evangelical Parish of Feld am See, led by Senior Pastor Mag. Michael Guttner, is the village center of our community. The community of Feld am See was the first in Carinthia to lay the cornerstone for a tower on April 28, 1850. When the roof truss was already in place, the tower collapsed in a November night of the same year, without any prior signs having been noticed. The evangelical residents were not discouraged by the misfortune and began construction of a new tower in the spring of 1851, which was completed in 1852 and still reflects as a striking landmark of the village in the clear Brennsee.
