Name: Schmidbergerwehr/Bahnpromenade Adventure Area Description: At the Weyer swimming and sunbathing area, incorporating the Gaflenzbach stream and at the Schmidbergerwehr, children and young people can playfully experience the tasks and activities of "Wildbach" (torrent control). Here you will find transverse structures, torrent barriers, retention basins, blockages, early warning systems for floods, sediment traps, slit dams, and willow structures.The playground is the first of a total of five stations on the Wildbach Adventure Trail. The Wildbach Adventure Trail - as part of the Weyer theme trail - presents the work of torrent and avalanche control in a playful, creative, and informative way.Along the path, there are stations with information boards and interactive elements.
