You love winter sports and want to try something different in Zell am See besides skiing or tobogganing? Then ice stock sport (Eisstockschießen) is just right for you. This folk sport (similar to curling) combines alpine tradition with winter fun on the ice and offers lots of fun with your family or friends. Not only warm clothing is required, but also precision: with a lot of dexterity, two teams shoot their ice stocks into the opponent's field and try to place them as close as possible to the Daube, a round rubber disc. With each shot, the tension rises to see who earns the most victory points for their team.
