Eisstockbahn - St. Andrä

In ice stock sport, players compete either individually or in teams. Each player has an ice stock that must be slid as close as possible to the target on the opposite side, which is usually a simple wooden cube. The player whose ice stock is closest to the target wins the round. Skilled players can, with a well-placed shot, knock the opponent's ice stock out of the playing area. The ice stock rink in St. Andrä is prepared during the winter months, depending on weather conditions, and is located next to the sports field or the Taurachbahn stop in St. Andrä. The rink can be used free of charge and is equipped with floodlights, allowing for play even in the late evening.
