Name: Once through the Ausseerland - Biking on the BergeSeen eTrail The sixth section of the BergeSeen eTrail runs through the beautiful Ausseerland. During the stage from Bad Aussee to Altaussee, it's worth taking a break at many points to marvel and enjoy. In the Sarstein forest, bikers experience a panoramic view of Loser, Sandling, and the Dachstein glacier. When circling the Ödensee, a stop at the Kohlröserlhütte is a must. A detour to the Steinitzenalm is rewarded with the enjoyment of local delicacies such as sweet Krapfen and a Brettljause (cold platter). Before arriving in Bad Mitterndorf, the wild and romantic Salza reservoir in the nature reserve invites you to a leisurely rest. From Grundlsee, the bike tour continues towards Altaussee after a wonderful refreshment in the lake. Once you arrive at Altausseer See, it's hard to continue the journey. Because the area is a true delight in culinary and historical terms, but also with regard to nature.
