Eduard-Haas Brunnen

Eduard Haas, the inventor of baking powder, lived in St. Martin in the last century, among other things, as a so-called 'Bader' (bath attendant), i.e., a doctor and midwife, and operator of a model farm. He was significantly involved in the development of the economy and agriculture in St. Martin. A fountain in the town square and his residence at Badergasse 1 still bear witness to this famous resident of St. Martin.
