Viking ship cruise on the Danube: Captain "Lois" awaits you at the landing stage in Exlau. Costumes on, helmets on, beer tapped, and off we go! Your own costumes are welcome. We sail downstream from Exlau to Untermühl, passing Schloss Neuhaus and the old Kettenturm. Our ship "Neufundland" offers 18 rowing places with a rowing rhythm drummer; in total, we can transport 108 people. All kinds of drinks are served at our "Viking Bar". A normal tour lasts about 1.5 hours until we dock back in Exlau.Viking tournament in the Viking village Exlau: the inn in Exlau is managed by the Arnezeder family and their team. A fun Viking tournament awaits you with archery, horseshoe throwing, spear throwing, and ball slinging. The inn is an accommodation facility and a Jausenstation (snack station), where you can also get warm meals served by prior arrangement. Social gatherings (in a separate area if desired), campfires, dancing, and music can be experienced in the Viking village.Viking hike: The 1.5 km long Viking path in Kirchberg leads over the 613 m high Burgstall and the 25 m high observation tower. After the hike in the beautiful Danube valley, there is a good place to stop for refreshments at Gasthaus Koblmüller in Kirchberg. We reserve the right to combine smaller groups on one ship.How do I get to EXLAU?From Linz approx. 36 km to Exlau on the B127 to St. Martin im Mühlkreis, at the roundabout take the third exit towards Untermühl/Donau approx. 7km. Follow the sign "Gasthof in der Exlau", continue under the "Grossen" Mühlbrücke (clearance height 3.90 meters) along the Danube approx. 2.5 km on the farm road to Exlau to the Viking village. From Passau it is approx. 60 km to Exlau, coming via Oberkappl or Niederranna then continue to Altenfelden - Kirchberg o.d. Donau - Untermühl a.d. Donau. Follow the sign "Gasthof in der Exlau", continue under the "Grossen" Mühlbrücke (clearance height 3.90 meters) along the Danube approx. 2.5 km on the farm road to Exlau to the Viking village.
