"The Jesus of Katschberg" The wooden sculpture originates from the creativity and artistic skill of wood artist Alfred Peitler. The wooden Christ statue with outstretched arms looks towards Carinthia, and anyone who sees the wooden Christ next to the Gamskogelhütte is briefly prompted to pause. Alfred Peitler is also a talented musician and even recorded a song about his statue titled: "The Jesus of Katschberg." From the Katschberghöhe, along the Herzerlweg to the Gamskogelhütte, with a walking time of about 1 hour, you can explore this attraction. In winter, the Jesus statue cannot be visited!
