The "Myth of Tyrol" is illuminated from various perspectives in the TIROL PANORAMA, offering a comprehensive insight into this exciting and complex topic. The giant panoramic painting captures the Tyrolean struggle for freedom on 1000 square meters in a fascinating and breathtaking 360-degree view. Created in 1896, the painting documents all facets that make up the "Myth of Tyrol." It shows landscapes and people, the irrepressible urge for freedom and the ensuing battle, and the strong connection to religion and God.The Kaiserjägermuseum represents "a museum within a museum" in the overall concept of the TIROL PANORAMA. With its documentation of Tyrol's military history from the 18th to the 20th century, the museum's historical collection directly connects to the drama on Bergisel. The regimental museum of the Tyrolean Kaiserjäger reflects the development of the old Austrian military and the Jäger (riflemen) troops in the 19th century from the perspective of the corps. In the concluding "Europe Room," the topic of Tyrol's European present can be experienced interactively.
