FUN-rafting on the Salzach near Werfen A gentle tour in WW2 (white water class 2) where the fun factor is the main focus. Ideal for rafting beginners, school groups, corporate events, as well as families with children. The FUN-rafting route is located near Werfen and is nestled between the impressive mountains of the Tennen and Hagengebirge. In enchanting scenery, it goes fun, splashing right past Hohen Werfen Castle (see map below). Fun games and the opportunity to try wild water swimming also add to the fun and excitement. Schedule – Info Meeting point is our raft base in Stegenwald, very close to the Pass Lueg motorway exit (Exit 34) – reachable from Salzburg in just 30 minutes via the motorway. There, you will be equipped with a helmet, neoprene suit, jacket, life jacket, and neoprene shoes. Then, a short drive to the entry point in Werfen (near the train station). At the entry point, your guide will conduct the safety briefing including "dry training". Well equipped and prepared, you then go with the raft back towards the raft base = exit point. The tour ends again at our base.
