Festivals, theatre and guided toursIf you ask Jakob Koschutnig where he gets his motivation from, it quickly becomes clear that he wanted and still wants to create something lasting for posterity: "We want to bring young life into the old walls. With our festivals, the Gaudium, the Burgtheater and private celebrations, we are now very successful in doing so. We want everyone to feel the energy and power that prevails here." The Gaudium in particular is a matter close to everyone's heart: an extensive programme is put together here every year with the children of Glanegg elementary school, and the youngest can gain their first stage experience during performances. From youth festivals with techno beats to medieval dance groups, everyone feels at home and is equally welcome at the castle ruins. Because the goal of saving the castle from impending decay and bringing it back into people's minds has been achieved.
