Burgruine Wolkenstein

From the Wolkenstein castle ruins, once the seat and dominion of the regional princely office and regional court in the Ennstal, a magnificent view over the Ennstal is offered. The Wolkenstein family is mentioned in documents around 1099. Construction of the castle began at the beginning of the 12th century. The remaining wall ruins still clearly show the former fortifications.
