A paradise that sets new standards in many respects: a length of over 40 kilometers, variety on the extensive terrain around the Geschriebenstein, a minimally invasive and natural construction method, or Burgenland's 300 sunny days, which allow year-round riding, make the Burgenland-Trails unique. Whether mountain bikers, e-mountain bikers, enduro shredders, downhillers, families or nature lovers: on the Burgenland-Trails, every mountain biker will fully enjoy it, be fully in the flow, fully in harmony with nature. In addition to endless panoramic views, smooth trails and lines, adapted to the natural topography, spectacular sunken roads and canyons, as well as one or two jumps, await. These are the Burgenland-Trails! Each of the 4 downhill trails offers variety and makes every biker's heart beat faster. Rechnitz Trail: The trail ending at the southernmost point of the area is a unique natural roller coaster. Headtrail: This Top of Burgenland Trail offers fun for the whole family. Esterházy Trail: If you are looking for a beautiful flow trail in untouched nature, choose the Esterházy Trail for your first descent. Batthyány Trail: Looking for panoramic views? Burgenland Card For all Burgenland Card holders there is an additional special goodie: With the Burgenland Card you can use the Burgenland-Trails FREE of charge during your entire stay. Simply redeem tickets online for the desired days and nothing stands in the way of enjoyment. An on-site ticket purchase is not possible for Burgenland Card benefits and season tickets. We point out that trail use is not included in the Shuttle Day Ticket. E-Bike Rental Station Lockenhaus With the top-class electric bicycles from E-Bike Paradies Südburgenland, it is a pleasure to experience the fascination of the Burgenland-Trails in Southern Burgenland. Sporty summit ascents included. At the entrance to the Burgenland-Trails in Lockenhaus, e-bikes can now be rented for a whole day or for 3 hours. Booking is possible either online or directly on site.
