BRUX Freies Theater Innsbruck

BRUX / Freies Theater Innsbruck has been enriching the cultural life in Innsbruck since 2012. In the most central location of the city (directly next to Landhausplatz), up to 200 cultural events take place annually: everything from spoken theater to children's/youth theater, dance, literature, contemporary circus, music, exhibitions, and especially cross-genre formats. BRUX stages the diversity of contemporary theater creation and experimental artistic engagement with socially relevant topics. A specially funded program line of BRUX is VORBRENNER, which brings particularly innovative, interdisciplinary concepts to the Tyrolean cultural landscape. VORBRENNER is a place for developing, researching, and experimenting. BRUX and VORBRENNER are financially supported by the City of Innsbruck and the State of Tyrol.
