Brunnbachkirche

Every Sunday, the Brunnbach residents hiked over 10 km to Großraming to attend church service there. In 1949, they all decided together to build their own church. The construction of the church was already completed in 1950. All residents of Brunnbach helped together and largely built the Brunnbachkirche by hand. On weekdays, mainly the women of the village worked on the construction of the church, as the men were working in the forest and only came home on weekends. It was not until the year 2000, after a fundraising campaign, that it was possible to purchase a church tower clock, although a place for it had already been planned during the construction in 1949. Today, the Brunnbachkirche is a popular place for weddings.
