During a round through this nature course, which is located in a beautiful orchard and smells of apple blossoms in spring and where ripe fruit hangs from the trees in autumn, one has a wonderful view over the Safental. In addition to the 3D course, the BSV Thermenland also offers a heated hall for practicing this healthy sport during the winter season. A special feature of archery is that no special physical requirements are necessary; even people with handicaps or impaired vision can practice this sport. Blowgun Sport When one hears "blowgun," one might think of how some people in their youth shot at their school friends in the classroom with window putty and a straw. One also thinks of how indigenous people hunt animals with bamboo tubes to eat them. However, the Archery Club Thermenland aims to popularize blowgun shooting as a sport. This sport can be practiced, like archery, on the 3D course or in the hall. Similar to archery, blowgun shooting is a simple and healthy way to exercise. It primarily trains the lungs by taking deep breaths to bring the dart towards the target with full force. This sport is particularly suitable for the whole family and nature lovers. No special fitness is required for blowgun shooting either, and it can also be performed by people who are no longer in the best physical shape. TIP: Rental equipment for both sports is available.
