While Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" gently echoes from the collegiate church through the Admont evening, a single yodel of joy can be heard from the Bichlbacher Rodelbahn (toboggan run). The air is crisp and clear, blood cells dance warmly on cheeks and nose, and on the Bichlbacher Rodelbahn, you are guaranteed to get a healthy complexion. It's 160 meters of altitude that you rush down the slope here. The wood of the sled under your bottom, the laughter of friends or family members close to your ear, for a brief moment even the pessimists among us look radiantly white. Again! Such tremendous fun must, of course, be repeated. Preferably, however, with a hot drink or snack in your stomach. The small hut with a bar is located directly at the end of the finish line. However, if you've worked up a real hunger after the tobogganing fun, you should stop at one of the Admont guesthouses. The Gesäuse game is particularly popular here in winter.
