In our museum, you experience 4,000 years of mining history in Mühlbach am Hochkönig – exciting and vividly presented. Discover impressive artifacts from the Bronze Age to groundbreaking innovations of modern times. A special highlight is our unique mineral room with a detailed replica of the oldest known star map, the Nebra sky disk. Additionally, a dedicated exhibition area is devoted to the fascinating stories of ski icons from Mühlbach am Hochkönig – inspiring, captivating, and full of regional history.
