Directly at the idyllic Landgasthof Ropferstub’m there is also a small mountain farmer museum. Around 70 collector's items from the 19th and 20th centuries become contemporary witnesses in the so-called "Tenne" (threshing floor), telling the stories of our ancestors and providing insights into mountain farming life. Historical tools and equipment from agriculture, forestry, iron processing, and household fascinatingly show how demanding and deprived daily (survival) life was at 1,200 meters above sea level. Furthermore, in the mountain farmer museum, you also learn some exciting stories from the times of smugglers at Ropferhof. By prior arrangement, the short film "Mountain Farming in the Ötztal" is also shown from 2:30 PM. Voluntary donations for the preservation of the mountain farmer museum are welcome. The fantastic view of the Inn Valley from the sun terrace, the children's playground, and the Kneipp facility make the Landgasthof Roperfstub'm with its mountain farmer museum a great excursion destination for the whole family. Please note that the museum is also closed on the Ropferstub'm's closing days.
