Bergbahnen Ankogel-Mallnitz

The Ankogel hiking paradise in the Hohe Tauern National Park – it is, in the truest sense of the word, the gateway to the National Park. Those who want to approach the mountain experience comfortably can take the cable car up. The Ankogel-Mallnitz cable cars take hikers from the valley station at 1,287m in two stages to airy heights up to the mountain station at 2,636m above sea level. From there, there are countless hiking routes into the surrounding mountain world. You can stop for refreshments at the Hannoverhaus, among other places.
