Berchtesgadner Kapelle

Starting from the town center towards obere Gasse, up to the district of Berchtesgaden, the beautiful chapel stands on the right side of the road on the slope. The Berchtesgadner Chapel was consecrated on August 27, 1993. It was built according to the plans of Franz Haider and through the voluntary efforts of the residents of Berchtesgaden. The ceiling painting and the panels with the 14 Holy Helpers were created by the painter Dagmar Ballogh. The statue of Mary is a gift from the Ursuline Convent in Innsbruck. A donated new bell was consecrated with the chapel.
