Benni-Raich Brücke

The Benni-Raich Bridge was built in 1995. It is designed as a true suspension bridge with a span of 137.70 m. The bridge height is 94 m. The clear width of the pedestrian walkway is 1.50 m. Since 1997, it has been used as a bungee bridge. Many onlookers observe the brave jumpers during their crazy activity in the summer months - some even try it themselves. This connection between the villages of Arzl and Wald has created wonderful opportunities for extended hikes in this unique landscape. Description for wheelchair users: There are two options here. Either you use the Swiss Track and park further down in the designated parking lot. From there, a well-navigable path leads to the Bungy Stüberl and then quite steeply downhill to the Benni Raich Bridge. The second option would be to drive directly to the Bungy Stüberl. However, there is no designated parking lot here, and you either have to leave the car at the roadside and inform the tenants, or an accompanying person brings the car back after unloading the wheelchair user. The further path to the bridge is then only possible with assistance. The Bungy Stüberl itself is not barrier-free accessible, but only reachable via a high step. The toilets are not wheelchair accessible.
