What do you do with a stable building that has a new roof but no one else needs? Tear it down, that was the answer from many, but not from me, because too much history is hidden behind these walls and wooden beams. A few hundred years of history simply cannot be torn down! So my plan was born to make something else out of it: an asylum for the many old things that my father and I once collected and which were also still on the farm. Exactly these should find a worthy place and not languish in some dark corner until the woodworms had put an end to them. In 2017 I started with the implementation, whereby nothing is as helpful as a fixed idea and the unconditional desire to make this idea a reality. The old rural world has changed, and with it craftsmanship, school, and daily life. Here in the centuries-old building, a place was created for these topics, so that one can understand how people worked, lived, learned, and also celebrated. Harald Wenzl's private collection shows rural life and work, but also craftsmanship and school. See you at Simon Harald, Elisabeth and Stefan (Source: https://www.beimsimon.at/)
