Cyclists or hikers who want to cool down can take an open-air shower in the Barbarossaschlucht. The hike into the gorge takes about 90 minutes as a circular route. Footbridges and bridges overcome the waterfalls and cascades of the mountain stream. If you wish, you can, of course, seek refreshment in the icy mountain water here. Andreas Klinzer, who at that time could no longer prevent the decline of his hammer mills, recognized a great opportunity for the future in tourism. Thus, in 1899, he had an 800-meter-long path laid through the gorge, on which guests could admire a magnificent natural spectacle.
