Sometimes change begins very quietly. A pull in the shoulder. A movement that feels harder than usual. Or simply this quiet feeling: I need a different rhythm. That's how it was for my mother. For decades she was on the go – athletic, committed, always there for others. Breaks? She hardly knew them. There was always something to do. Does that sound familiar to you? A daily life full of responsibility and hardly any time to take a deep breath? Today, at 61, her body is tired. She has achieved a lot. Perhaps too much. Now she is learning to treat herself more lovingly. And what helps her with this is something very simple yet so powerful: Chair Yoga. That's exactly why I founded Balancekraft. Because I saw how beneficial it is to get back in touch with one's own body – without pressure, without expectations. Simply as it is possible right now. My husband's grandmother – over 88 – still goes mindfully into the forest every day. Slowly, connected with nature. "It's simply more enjoyable when the weather is nice," she says with a smile. These women show me every day: mindfulness, movement, and joy of life belong together – at every age. Further information on my website: www.balancekraft.at
