The Forchtenstein bathing reservoir is located at the foot of the Rosalia Mountains in the Rosalia-Kogelberg Nature Park and, with its excellent water quality, shady sunbathing lawns, and natural surroundings, offers a popular destination for bathers and those seeking relaxation. The lake is fed by the Haidbach stream, is about 170 meters long, 150 meters wide, and reaches over six meters at its deepest point. The water surface covers around 15,000 square meters, and the bathing beach is partly sandy, partly grassy. For children, there is a playground and a 50-meter-long water slide. The facility has sanitary facilities, changing rooms, and a canteen directly by the water.
