Engelhartszell, Upper Austria
In the exhibition "Danube Stories" (part of the Engelhartszell Danube World), themes from the history of the market town of Engelhartszell were playfully and artistically designed by children. It is located directly next to the municipal office and houses an original ship's cabin, small ship models, and tells about life on and along the Danube.Furthermore, there is information about the "Donausteig from Passau to Grein" with a Danube film and the INFOPOINT – "Natura 2000", where a particularly realistic impression of nature in the European protected area is conveyed via photo slides, sound recordings, and films.Following the exhibition, an educational walk along the Danube Trail – from Engelhartszell to the Jochenstein power plant – which also belongs to the Engelhartszell Danube World, is recommended.
