Ausstellung "Das Fremdenbuch von Vent"

Personal encounters of far-sighted alpinists preceded the founding of the German Alpine Club. The rectory of Vent, "the most comfortable base for high-altitude tourists," as Johann Stüdl described it, was the center of this development. Franz Senn, pastor and innkeeper, intrepid mountaineer and progressive friend of the Alps, became the driving force in these events. In the new rectory of Vent, which is now used as an information center for Ötztal Tourism and for an exhibition by the Ötztal Nature Park, the Alpine Club Museum provides insights into the preserved guestbook of Vent from that period.Open daily from 8:00 to 20:00.Admission free.
