The Kleeberg is a 499-meter-high hill located approximately 4 kilometers south of Gleisdorf, between the district of Labuch and St. Margarethen an der Raab. The staircase structure with over 140 steps was built in October 2001 on the initiative of the artist and sculptor Fred Höfler and the then mayor Johann Zengerer. This 31.7-meter-high observation tower was co-planned by architect DI Johann Wahlhütter.We ask for your understanding.The parking lot is open to you free of charge from 06:00 to 21:00. Please make sure to leave the premises by 21:00, as the barrier closes automatically. In case of being locked in, you have the option to contact the on-call service of the Wirtschaftshof Gleisdorf at (03112) 2601-552. For this, we must charge you a service fee of € 35.50.Hiking around the Kleeberg observation towerNot only autumn, as the classic hiking season, entices people into nature − but also in winter with snowshoes, in spring in search of the first signs of spring, or in summer with a refreshing swim afterwards − the many hiking trails are waiting to be discovered. The circular hike "Hiking with a View" of the leisure and exercise area of the Gleisdorf region "Hiking with a View" leads variedly and panoramically through meadows and forests to the "Kleeberg" and the Europaberg. For a shorter loop, the hike can be shortened.
