Photo: Alpbachtal TourismusBrandenberg, Tyrol
Built in 1724 by the then farm owner as a thank offering (dated by inscription in the gable field), the elaborately designed, high-quality building is stylistically close to the Aibling school. To the left and right of the entrance door are round-arched figure niches with shell conches. The vault of the chapel is adorned with a Baroque fresco of St. John the Evangelist from the time of its construction. The chapel is always locked, but is also an architectural gem from the outside.
