Screen printing, formerly also known as "serigraphy", is a printing process in which the printing ink is pressed with a wipe-like tool, the squeegee, through a fine-mesh textile fabric onto the material to be printed, in our case probably textile or possibly paper. In the course, everyone can develop their own experimental working method, creating smaller but also large-format unique pieces. The main focus is on experimenting with the possibilities of screen printing technology. Here, work can be done with unexposed blank screens and stencils as well as with prepared exposed screens. Own brought motifs are also possible after consultation. The workshop offers a joyful experimentation with surfaces, shapes and colors, where an individual artistic expression can be found. Work will be done in my studio in Pettenbach, Upper Austria. Maximum number of participants 6 people. No prior knowledge is required! For questions, you can reach me by phone at 0676-9402929.
