The "City on Magdalensberg" is one of the largest excavation sites in the Eastern Alpine region. It has been archaeologically researched since 1948. The park covers four hectares and, with its ruins, shows essential areas of the former settlement. On the historic grounds, you will encounter the "Youth from Magdalensberg" and many other finds that bear witness to Roman life on Magdalensberg.
