Annakapelle

The chapel, built in a round shape and consecrated to Saint Anna, is one of the sights in Mogersdorf. The small round building in the shape of a Turkish tent also commemorates the historic battle against the Turks on August 1, 1664. The Annakapelle was probably erected around 1670 as a memorial for those who fell in the battle. Inside the chapel there is an oil painting showing Saint Mother Anna with the child Mary. Guided tours are offered by telephone appointment.
